It starts when i board the bus at 7:30 with lots of stories which happened yesterday , in between 6 to 10 , i say that in this time ” the most happening world affairs ” are discussed . Especially these days we usually talk about our exam results , CRT , companies … but i feel it is precious time where we can revise the things , we can discuss the class lectures not only those but also current affairs where we can surely gain some knowledge .. i say this because some thing which is discussed more is registered in mind .
I still remember that day when Hod sir asked for names of students who were interested in preparing Nano particles. Around 15 students were interested, so we formed four teams and started of with the work. We were guided by the Respected Director of Nano Ram Technologies, A.R. Phani sir. Before we could start of […]
So,it was the first day of my college.I Boarded the bus and I could see many pale faces(juniors). Some were like lost puppies in a crowd and some bold and confident.Like evryone I came to BVRIT with lots of expectations and dreams.I got down from the bus and realised that I don’t even know a single […]
And with all these unsettling thoughts I started my first day of B.TECH at BVRIT. The college had something in it that made me feel like it was welcoming me with its open arms. It felt good and that somehow kicked the pessimist in me the much needed kick. Slowly and cautiously I spoke to few people in my class and it was not as bad as it had been in my dreams or should I say nightmares?
As soon as my EAMCET results were out, many of my friends and family members asked me to check for BVRIT. I was surprised and was also marvelled as to what made BVRIT so different from many other engineering colleges. And the day came, when I really understood what those people meant when they suggested this college. I woke up as usual at 7:00 am and my parents said “HURRY UP LETS MAKE A VISIT TO BVRIT”. I also felt “OK, LET ME SEE WHAT’S SO PECULIAR ABOUT THIS COLLEGE?”.
I still remember that day when I was in first year and there were two leisure hours on that day. Wow..! Two leisure hours.. No much work ..and most importantly..No seniors (as they were having exams).. So what’s next? I and my friends planned to hangout on our campus. That was my first hangout on campus. I started moving around with my friends. What a beautiful campus we have!
I put forward the idea of Bamboo cycle, strongly backed by team mates and the highly encouraging and enthusiastic management granted us funds immediately. Mission Bamboo cycle was initiated and we started listing down all the works. A Bamboo cycle needs a hollow, long and strong bamboo sticks, heat source to strengthen it and some bonding agents.
During the hot and humid summer of 2006, if you had stopped me on a road and asked, “What is the best college in Hyderabad in your view, Karthik?” I would have said anything but BVRIT. [The actual college where I eventually did my Bachelors] Partly because I didn’t know much about the college, and also perhaps […]
So, those were my first days at BVRIT. I had numerous inhibitions on how my B.tech life would go further. One fine day all freshmen were acquainted with different social welfare clubs of BVRIT in an interactive session and that’s when I got to know about Enlightening Lives,BVRIT’s one of a kind NGO. EL‘s vision […]
