The culture of India is the way of living of the people of India.

India’s languages, dance, music, food, and customs differ from place to place within the country. The Indian culture, often labeled as an amalgamation of several cultures, spans across the Indian subcontinent.

The Society for the Promotion of Indian Classical Music And Culture Amongst Youth (SPIC MACAY) is a voluntary youth movement which promotes intangible aspects of Indian culture heritage
Sri. Waseefuddin Dagar has since recorded in Switzerland, India, and America with major recording labels is performing for the organization SPIC MACAY. He is also awarded with Padmasri in 2010.

BVRIT earlier this Friday, Sri. Waseefuddin Dagar and his team performed a classical Hindustani vocal show.
The Stage performance, coordinated by the SPIC MACAY organisation,had a brief introduction about the classical culture of our country and a set of songs performed by the team.
“For one who listens to the wholeness of the existence, everything is music. There is nothing which is not music.”

“Every little sound has a certain impact. If you listen to a certain kind of sound, you become loving. Some other sound can make you joyful. Some other sound makes you aggressive. This is happening, isn’t it? Sounds create not just emotions, they also change the very chemistry of your system. So the kind of sounds you are exposed to, and the kind of sounds you generate, do various things to you were the words said by Shri.Waseef Uddin Dagar.”

Many students and faculty attended the program and the very first one of the events organized by the cultural club was closed with leaving the traces of Indian Culture..!
